Out and about in NSW ....

Hi All,

Sorry it's been so long between posts but we have been very busy lol.

On the road again after a great stay in QLD :)

Our first stop was Ballina for a couple of nights.  We stayed at a lovely place on the river and the weather was beautiful.  It was Melbourne cup day on our second day but we didn't do any good in the caravan park sweep :(

Then it was off to Coffs Harbour for a couple of nights.  We stopped in here last year with Chris and Kevin and it was great.  This year it has did nothing but thunder and lightening all night and day lol.
We still had a great time, we went for a drive in the hills and then to the butterfly house (a few hundred photos later haha) and maze, which is only one of three butterfly houses left in Australia.

Then we travelled all day and went through Newcastle which we didn't realise is such a big city, it is huge and with beautiful beaches.  We stopped overnight in Belmont just outside Swansea.  What a lovely place right on the river.

Next stop on Saturday was Sydney where we stayed for 7 nights in the Lane Cove Tourist Park about 12 kms from the heart of Sydney in the National Park.
OMG the traffic is aaaaarrrrrgggghhhh I couldn't live here, but I suppose you would get used to it!!!!
We bought a weekly myticket fpr $63 each for unlimited travel on trains, buses, light rail and ferries which we used every day, so was well worth it.

We went to see Alan and Lyn on Sunday as they live in Hebersham near Blacktown and went to the Featherdale Wildlife Park which is right in the middle of all the houses but is really big and was a great day out.

Over the next week we caught the train into Sydney (20 minutes) and went to Madame Tussauds, then for a ride on the ferry to Parramatta and another ride to Manly, we caught the train to the Blue Mountains, we climbed the Sydney Harbour Bridge (so proud of myself as I am very scared of heights), went to Olympic Park and checked out DFO, went to Paddy's Markets, had a look around Chatswood, took Alan and Lyn out to dinner at a restaurant around the corner from the tourist park.

Then it was time to put the legs up and move on again.................except the day before we left the IDIOT in the van next to us was leaving and instead of asking us to move our car over just a bit before he realised he was too close he decided to just go and so he hit our car!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  Luckily it has only scratched down the side of the passenger door and not dented it.  We didn't even realise he had hit it until he came back and knocked on the door and tried to slip Andrew $50 to fix it lol......I don't think so hahaha.

So off we went again on our way down the coast of NSW.................we headed towards Woolongong.................down the big hill which was soooooooooooo scary I was crying lol I have had enough of the mountains boooohooooo!!!!!!  My hair is so grey it's not funny hahahahaha!!!!

We stayed at Kiama for 2 nights and that's another story...........................the weather is lovely so we went for a drive to see the 2 blowholes and town.  On Sunday we got up and it was a bit cloudy but no wind but was raining so we went into town for brekky and wandered around the markets.  We then decided to go for a drive down the coast only for about 50kms but the little towns are beautiful.  That's when the wind started picking up and getting really strong.  We stopped in some little country antique shops and cafĂ© at Jindy Andy and then started making our way back..................then the caravan park rang.....the wind was sooooooooooooostrong it had completely ripped our awning up and over the caravan and off the brackets onto the ground on the other side.  The canvas was ripped off the pole so now all we have is a pole :(  Andrew has tied it back onto the van and the awning is folded up in the car hahaha.  We rang the insurance and will get it fixed when we get home!!!!!  Then the wind stopped and it was dead still we couldn't believe it.

We are now at a lovely little caravan park in Batemans Bay on the Clyde River and it is beautiful.  It rained all night but not cold or windy, we went for a walk along the beach after dinner (doesn't get dark til about 8-8.30).  Today we will go for a drive as there are so many beaches here.

I suppose I better get up now as it is nearly 10 o'clock :)

Love and miss everyone so much xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Big kisses and cuddles for my littlies, Kalani, Zavier and Alanis xoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxoxox

Next we are making our way to Melbourne :)  And there better not be any hills hahahahahahaha

Fun in Queensland.

Well hello again :)

We had a great time getting  to Queensland, some of the places we went through are beautiful.  We came up through Armidale, Warwick, Glenn Innes, Tamworth, Tenterfield and Toowoomba.
Tamworth was a little disappointing as I was expecting to see at least some country people e.g: cowboy hats, boots hahahaha and something musical.........but no nothing.  We couldn't even park anywhere as couldn't find somewhere big enough for the car and van............maybe we were on the wrong side of town lol!!!!
AND then there was Toowoomba.............OMFG I have never seen or been down a hill soooooooo big hahaha and NEVER again lol.........I was nearly crying it was so scary hahaha.  But we did it :)

We got to Brisbane on Wednesday 29/10 and are leaving tomorrow 3/11.  We have been staying in the Moreton Bay area at Scarborough Caravan park and it is right on the water next to the boat club and is a lovely little park.
Thursday night we went out to dinner with Bob and Wendy in Woody Point and a lovely night, good food, great company and lots of laughs.
We went for a drive up the Sunshine Coast on Friday to Mooloolaba, Mooroochydore and Noosa and its gorgeous.  They were getting set up for the Triathlon in Noosa which was on today 3/11.

Saturday we went to Andrew's family Christmas get together at Val and Leanne's.  We had such a great day it was lovely to catch up with everyone again with lots of laughs.  Thanks so much for having us again this year ♥♥♥
We then went out for dinner with Shane and Sue before they headed back to Rockhampton in the morning, which was great :)

Today we have had a great afternoon and lunch at Mathew and Jill's (and Lindsay), so thanks very much xx.
Well we have packed everything up ready for leaving in the morning and we will head off down towards NSW to pop in and see Alan and Lyn :).

I better go now as I am starting to think of my kids and grandies and getting a bit teary as I am missing them all soooooo much :(:(

We hope all is good at home Mum and Dad and you are both good and we miss you both xx.

I better get ready as we are going to the baot club next door for dinner and a play on the pokies hehehe.

Til next time

Off to the East!!!

Hi Again,

Well we are now well and truly on our way to Brisbane.  We left Kalgoorlie on Wednesday the 15th of Oct and 1st stop was Cocklebiddy for the night and the next night we stopped just before Penong in SA.  Next stop Whyalla!!!  But not before car trouble...................It was 5pm on Friday and we were 70kms from Whyalla just passed Cowell and the engine light came on and it was blowing out black smoke, we stopped in 36 degree heat in the middle of nowhere and there was oil in the engine bay.  Thank god we have roadside assist, so a quick call to them and out they came an hour and a half later from Whyalla and they checked it out and said they would follow us into town.  Car ran like a dream (as always) lol, no smoke no nothing hahahaha.  Anyway by the time we got to Deb and Pete's it was nearly 8pm, but was so good to see them and Ziggy.  And Deb was doing us dinner too so that was wonderful :)
Went into the Mitsubishi place in the morning and couldn't get booked in til Tuesday so we had a weekend of sight seeing, Andrew gave Pete a hand with some work around the caravan park, went to the pub for dinner a couple of times and a quick go on the pokies hehe.
$283 later the car is fixed and the problem was when we had the service done in September they had overfilled the oil !!!! so they drained 1.5 litres out lol.  I emailed Rockingham Mitsubishi and they have credited us back the $283 so that was good of them.  So all is now good :)
We had such a great time with Deb and Butt Monkey (Pete) hahaha and Ziggy but it was soon time to leave :(.
We left on Wednesday the 22nd and followed the Murray river, boy there are some beautiful places there.   Stopped overnight on the river bank just outside Waikerie just stunning.  We have spent the last 2 days here in Buronga Riverside caravan park (best caravan park we have ever stayed in and only $29 a night for a powered site).  Mildura Victoria is on one side of the river and the caravan park is in NSW on the other side lol.  Went on a Paddle steamer river cruise up the Murray today and through a Lock, which was really good and interesting.

It has been so hot for the last week and a half, I don't think the temp has been below 33 degrees,  the aircon in the van is getting a workout lol.

Well it's 9.30 so I better go as Andrew is snoring his head off haha and we are on the road again tomorrow off towards Dubbo to go to the zoo :)
I will try and add a few photos to this post, if they are not on here you know I can't remember how to do it hahahahaha!!!!!

Love and miss you all.

Greetings from Kalgoorlie:)

Hi All,

Well our week of prospecting with Chris and Kevin finished today and they have gone to travel home.  We have had such a great week and stayed at some beautiful bush spots.

We had a great couple of nights just outside of Mt magnet and watched the eclipse and it was so clear it was very bright.  We then moved onto Niagara Dam 9 kms before the ghost town of Kookynie and what a great spot.  You can swim in the dam, go bushwalking, there is a day picnic area and loads of different camping areas.  We will def go there again.

Then we spent the last 2 nights at Lake Douglas 10 kms past Kalgoorlie and another fantastic camp.

Oh both have toilets too which are very clean:)

We met a couple Mal and Val whose mate lives at  Bouldercombe Qld (where Shane lives) small world hey!!
He does prospecting and took Andrew and Kev out for a couple of hours but still nothing hahaha.
I don't know all the gear and no idea hahahahahaha.

We are staying in a caravan park in Kalgoorlie tonight to charge everything up and fill the water tanks as we start our trek over the Nullabor tomorrow.  We will stay at the Fraser rest stop tomorrow night and then on we go.
Look out Deb and Pete we are on our way to Wyalla!!!!!!!

Saw my first live Witchety Grub in the bush today as we all packed up camp..........mmmm juicy lol, I don't think so hahahahaha.

Hope everyone at home is well and we miss you all so much I don't know how I am going to go for the next 8-9 weeks lol, but I haven't had any moments yet !!  Also it is bloody fantastic NOT SWEATING hahahahaha good old HRT my saviour :)

Well bye for now as we are going to make the most of a long hot shower while we can hahahaha (I have had to wash my hair in a bucket outside the van to not use too much water) so it will be lovely tonight :)
Oh and Andrew's beard, eyebrows and lashes are all ok hahahahaha!!!

Til next time

On the road again!

Well good morning from sunny Mt Magnet:)

We left on our newest adventure yesterday.   Chris and Kevin are with us for the first week and then Andrew and I are heading off for a couple of months to Queensland and then down the coast and back to WA.

We are prospecting this week and hope to find us some gold!!!!  Andrew said Chris and I look like a couple of chooks bent over scratching the ground lol...............but they won't be laughing if we find something haha.

Well we had an eventful 1st night as Chris and Kevin's water heater in the van wouldn't light so the boys thought aha we will fix it!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!  So they are both bent over the outlet and Andrew said I will just blow in here and WHOOSH it lit AND so did his beard, eyebrows and lashes hahahahahahahahahahahahahaha.  He put his hands over his face and rubbed it and looked at Kev and said "Am I on fire?????".  Chris and I ran out the van to see what had happened and they were both laughing so hard I said wait let me take a picture lol.  We must have laughed for about an hour it was soooooooo funny.   So Andrew now has a singed beard, half a left eyebrow and tiny little stumpy eyelashes............and he didn't burn his face:)   But god it was funny!  And he won't shave his beard off..........

Well I am off now for bacon and eggs and a day of gold hunting, wish us luck.
Bye for now Love Me and Singey hahahahaha xxxxxxxxxxxx

On the way down through NSW......

Hello it's been a while,

Well we stayed at the Gold Coast for 5 nights and had a ball.  We went to SeaWorld, Movieworld and Outback Spectacular (which is awesome).

Andrew and Kevin went on all the rides at both parks and I went on one hahahahahaha and screamed my head off the whole ride...........the  sad thing is that it was the Looney Tunes roller coaster which i'm pretty sure is the kids ride lol as there were kids about 4 on there having a great old time!!!!!  It has been nearly a week since then and every now and then Chris will msg me and it is just a pic of my screaming face and we all just crack up as it is sooooooo funny.  What a friend!!!!!!  Hahahahaha.

Andrew and I went to Coolangatta on Saturday while Chris and Kevin visited their friends in Noosa.  We watched Alan Lyn and Shane dance in the rock and roll parade and then looked at all the cars in the Cooly car show.  We found a great pancake place and Andrew had eggs benedict on pancakes Yum.  It started to rain so we left and drove to Southport to visit Andrew's Aunt Mavis.  His Aunt Val and cousins Leanne, Lorraine and Lyndell were there too and Lyndell's 2 girls.  It was great to catch up after 20 years:) Andrew and I went out to dinner later at the Saltwater Creek Tavern.

On Sunday the weather was beautiful so we went to Surfers Paradise and wandered along the markets and then had lunch and a look around, after we went to the Pacific Fair shopping centre and YAY I finally found a phone cover to fit my phone.  We all went to the tavern tonight and had a play on the pokies.

We left Surfers about 9am and it started raining and didn't stop til the next morning but it wasn't cold or windy just dark and wet.

Called into Byron Bay and a few other places and stopped at the Grafton greyhound track for the night.  It is starting to get colder now and we had to wear coats this morning and I had long leggings on and then changed back into shorts later.
We went to the Big Banana and Andrew said I always thought it was much bigger...........it always is when you are a kid haha.  Went to Coffs Harbour and it is a beautiful place, watched the whales frolicking off the beach, they were slapping their tails and blowing out water and jumping right up in the air they were awesome.
Stopped overnight in a roadside camp and it was really foggy in the morning.
Tonight we are at a caravan park in Dural about 20 k's from Sydney and it is very cold, Andrew and Kev have popped to the pub next door for a drink and play on the pokies and I am in my Jim Jams snuggled up in bed:)   We had to go over the mountains to get here and I was so scared I had a panic attack.............I am so lucky Andrew knows what I am like!!  I could have taken some fantastic photos but only my eyes moved to look, I couldn't make my head turn to look out the window lol.

Ok bye for now.   Lots of love to everyone am missing you all heaps xxx

Hi from sunny Hervey Bay

Hello all,

We have had a great time in Rockhampton catching up with Shane and Alan and relaxing for 5 days.  The weather was a bit hit and miss but mostly the sun decided to shine:)

We did some sightseeing, we went to Yeppoon and to the Heritage Village which was great.........until I got a migraine (which I think was from the cheese platter the night before oops), but it didn't last long so that was good.

We also went to the Botanic Gardens and Zoo which are all in the same place and are free so it's great for kids.....young and old cos we all had a good time hehehe.

The wedding was a fabulous day and the sun shone at just the right time, the gardens and waterfalls were just beautiful.  And I must admit the boys all looked good in their Hawaiian outfits!!!!
Alan ended up getting me on the dance floor to rock and roll...............well there are no pics of that as I think everyone was laughing too much lol, I was knackered but hadn't done anything hahahaha, BUT Alan succumbed to MY way of dancing before the end of the song.......so I won YES!!!!!!

Andrew took me up to Mount Morgan on THAT road and it was pathetic......don't know what all the fuss was lol...piece of cake!!

We left Rockhampton Monday morning and we are now at Hervey Bay for a few days to do some touristy things and then we will base ourselves for about 5 days between Brisbane and the Gold Coast for some fun YAY.

Better go we are off to the Marina and the beach front for a look see.  Miss you all and hope at least some of you are missing us!!!!!
Oh and my weight watchers is still on target as wait for it........I am now 69.7 kg  WOOHOO haven't been under 70 for about 10 years I was soooooo excited hahahahahahaha.

Ok bye for now love to you all.

It's raining it's pouring.....

Hi from wet Rockhampton,

We arrived at Shane's about 2.30 on Tuesday afternoon (we could have been here earlier but I was having a panic attack and wouldn't let Andrew go the Mount Morgan way as the road had been partially washed away in the last floods and they have made a detour..........which is ok as all the trucks and everyone is using it.....buuuut.....not me hahahahahah) so my darling man went the long way round, told you he is so good to me :)

Well sunny Rockhampton my arse!!!!!!! It started raining about 5pm yesterday and hasn't stopped.  It's not cold though but just constant rain and not heavy rain either.

We went to the Bouldy Pub for dinner with Chris, Kev, Shane, Alan and Lyn and had a nice meal and a laugh.  Was home and in bed by 8.30 though lol.

Andrew has put the side annex up to stop the rain getting in so it is nice and cosy while I sit here listening to the rain while Andrew is washing the car.

We are going to try and go to Yeppoon today if the weather clears a bit, if not will go into Rocky and do Yeppoon tomorrow.

Shane's patio looks like a chinese laundry as Chris and I have our washing lines set up under there but it's doing the job, just need a fine day so we can wash the sheets!!

Ok I am off now to make Andrew a coffee as he looks like a drowned rat and then he can have a nice hot shower.

Until next time
Love and miss you all, give my grandies a big cuddle
Love us

Hello from Theodore.

Hi,

Well we left Tara at about 11am....................now I know what Andrew described is right lol.  Enough said!!!!!!!  We went through a couple of beautiful places, Chinchilla and Miles, on the way to Theodore.
We have found a free camp spot on the side of the Dawson River which is just fantastic.  It even has free hot water showers and to stay here you just put a donation in the tin.  We parked on the side and had to put the van on blocks as it was down hill, but we couldn't get it straight enough so I felt like I was going to slide out of bed and the slightest movement in the van made me feel sea sick lol.  In the morning a few vans that were beside us were leaving so up came the legs and over we moved to flatter ground.............aaaahhhh that's better I don't feel sick anymore hahaha.

Andrew made me bacon and eggs in bed this morning..................I am so lucky I have the best hubby in the world who does anything for me and treats me like a princess..........even though I am the Queen lol!!!

We walked into town which is only 1km up the road and got some more bread and stuff.  Andrew bought himself a new waterproof jacket (cos he left his at home..............I knew I shouldn't have brought any shoes hahahahahahahaha)  You should see the high heel welly boots we saw today...WOW they were awesome!

I am writing this as I sit in the beautiful sunshine while Andrew is just at the river with Kev fishing, we shall see if the Hunter Gatherer can bring us some dindins............I have chicken on standby lol.
We shall be in Rockhampton tomorrow (Tuesday) at Shane's place where we will stay until Monday 3rd June.

Hope everyone is good and Brodie how is my house????????  You can't have squatters rights lol.

Has anyone heard how Mum and Dad are getting on on their cruise?
Well I might settle back and have a Nanna nap :)

Bye once again, love and miss you all,
Love us.

Arrived in Tara !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Hi All,

We have had a couple of long days on the road to make up some time since we don't have to play the golf anymore.

It has finally stopped raining and we have had lovely sunny days for the last two days with temperatures ranging from 9 - 24.
Went through Cobar and Bourke and then camped at a roadside Parking at Cunnamulla with 6 other vans and 2 semi trailers and the cleanest long drop toilets I have ever seen!!

Left Cunnamulla at about 7.30am and the 3 different highways we went on were the bounciest roads in the whole of Australia I think lol.  Went through a town called St George and it was lovely, had a big river going through it with parks all the way along the edge so we stopped and had lunch in the park in the sunshine.

Got to Tara...............oh boy hahahahaha and got to Andrew's Mum and Dad's about 5pm.  We were going to take them to the Tara pub for dinner but Andrew forgot to tell me that they live 30 k's from the pub!!  So we went to the Country Club for dinner instead as that was only a couple of roads away.  All I can say is what INTERESTING people you meet in Tara!  You know what I mean don't you Brodie .........

We are leaving at about 10 am tomorrow so we can take a few days to get to Rockhampton before the wedding on Saturday.

Well I am all snuggled in bed in the van while Andrew is having a cuppa with his Mum and Dad in the house, I can hear the dogs barking and then Clive yelling at them to shutup.................is it 10 am yet hahahahahaha.

Bye for now,

Love the Apprentice Grey Nomads xxxxxxx

On the road again....................

Hi All,

We left Ceduna about 9ish on Tuesday morning after cooking up bacon and eggs and it is still raining!!  We have no more golf til we come back across the Nullabor and do the holes we had to miss cos of the rain and time.  We are making good time now and the roads have been great and not too much traffic.

Last night we stayed just out of Orroroo in the hills and it was freezing and wet and windy.  We parked up for the night and lay there thinking we were going to be washed down the hill (we were miles away and no way was that going to happen) it was just me being paranoid as usual!!!  But then again Andrew was watching a horror DVD and the woman they were rescuing ws attacked as they travelled in their caravan lol.....................and he wonders why I panic hahaha.

Had a great run today and saw lots of emus and goats on the side of the road, I think Andrew and Kev wanted the goats for dinner:)  We went through Willcania and WOW we saw the bridge Andrew and I have a photo of us on from 1978!!!! we could never remember where it was LOL.  We are camped at a roadside stop in the Mcculloch Ranges and the rain has finally stopped and we have been sitting outside by the campfire.  There are 4 other campers here too and nearly every 2nd truck stops as a communication tower is over the road so they all stop and log on or make calls.  It's gonna be a noisy night hahaha.

Well we should get past Dubbo tomorrow, so hopefully when we get into Qld the weather is a tad warmer.  The temperature only ranged from 10 to 15 degrees today Brrrr.

I don't know what's going on but I have cooked for 8 days...................yes that's right 8 days in a row, I am going to have to have a rest a some stage!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ok will say goodnight now,
miss my kids and grand babies.

Big kisses for Kalani, Zavier and Alanis Love Nanny and Grandad  xxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxxx

Hello from bloody freezing Ceduna!!!

YAY............I have had a memory blast and found my login lol.

Well we left on our new adventure on Thursday the 16th May with our friends Kevin and Chris and headed to Kalgoorlie.  We are making our way to Rockhampton for Andrew's brothers wedding on the 1st of June,  and then we will work our way down to Brisbane, Sydney and inland towards home and we should be home by about the 28/29th of June as Andrew is making me go to work on the 2nd of July LOL..............Boooo!!!  We have been free camping (I wouldn't do it last time as we hadn't done it before and we were on our own)........really I was just scared hahahahaha, but this time it has been great and cheap!!!  Tonight is the sixth night and the only night we have stayed in a caravan park cos we needed to do some washing, re charge everything and refill the water tanks and empty the pooper LOL, so we have so far only spent $31 on accommodation and are having a ball.

We are doing the Nullabor Links Golf also as we go across, and I must say I am definitely shit at golf hahahahaha, I think my average is about 11 LOL.  When we played the Madura Pass hole a crow nicked mine, Kev's and Chris' balls, we thought we were going mad but then we looked up and saw a crow flying along with a pink ball in its beak............Hey that's mine hahahaha it was soooo funny.  We played 2 holes at Ceduna this afternoon in the wind and pelting rain and freezing cold...........we all had coats, beanies, hoodies, umbrellas and we were still soaking wet.  But it was soooooo nice to come back to the caravan park to a steaming hot shower aaaahhhhh:)

The weather was beautiful all the way about 25 everyday until we got to the Nullabor Station and it has only just stopped raining for the first time in 2 days.

We are making our way to Port Augusta tomorrow 466 km's away.
Hope you all enjoy reading this and I will try and update when we get signal which hopefully will be more often now as we are getting into more populated areas and now I know what I am doing again hahahahaha.
Okay bye for now

Hi All,

YAY we are back in WA!!!!

We sadly left Normanville last Wednesday and a huge thankyou to Deb, Pete and Toni for everything, we had a ball, lots of laughs and lots of drinks, so good to catch up.

We stopped at Cowell overnight and then got to Coffin bay (sooo nice) on Thursday afternoon and stayed for 2 nights.  Found a great beach in the National Park and stayed there all day and had the whole beach to ourselves!!
At night there were so many kangaroos in the caravan park and hundreds of 28's (boy they make a lot of noise).

Saturday we stayed at Venus Bay for 2 nights and we were so looking forward to it as we called in there on our way through and it was hot and a hive of activity with the fishing boats in and unloading and kids and boats and people fishing and swimming.  BUT the weather had other ideas.........it was sooooooo windy and quite cool we couldn't really do anything...........Andrew fished off the jetty a few times and caught half a dozen fish.  We had to get up at 4am to take the awning down as it was so windy and our table blew away hahaha.

We left Monday morning and stayed at Eucla overnight and back on WA time so we were wide awake before 6am so off we went again and got all the way to Esperance...............what a long day!!!!

AND I have cooked the last 2 nights!!!!!!!!!!!!what the hell is going on, I will have to put a stop to that hahahahaha.

Today we went to Cape Le Grande National Park to all the bays and then climbed Frenchmans Peak.  I thought I would be able to do it but I got over half way up and froze and had to sit and wait til Andrew came down.  I was so scared and nearly crying I ended up on my hands and knees climbing, so mad at myself though cos I really wanted to do it:(

Went past my friend Dawn's house, but she is in Perth on holidays:(  Bugger!!!!! I miss her.......

Not long now and we get to see everyone, can't wait to see my kids and grandies......oh how we miss them♥♥

Well I finally managed to find where to write on here again ( don't know what happened) hahahahahaha.  We arrived in normanville on Wednesday afternoon and caught up with Andrew's cousins Debbie and Peter and their daughter Toni and  Joanne and Tony.  Went over for dinner (they manage the caravan park here) and had a great night ..............how could it not be great with 3 Toni's (Tony's) hehe.

What a great place they have here it's right on the beach with a little river running through it.  We went to Victor Harbour and that is just gorgeous, we will go back there again another day before we leave here.  We went on the steam train and the horse pulled tram to Granite Island, checked out one of the pubs ..of course.  Yesterday we went into the city, and Rundle mall which is so full of shops it a great place.  Had a look at the Skycity Casino for a bit it's ok but small.

Then went to Glenelg and WOW love it there it was packed on the beach with volleyball and the jetty and they have this place called the Beach House which has huge water slides, mini golf, bumper boats and a big amusement centre it was great.

Ok off now for a drive to check out where the ferry for Kangaroo Island goes as we are going there for a few days.  The wind has finally stopped after all this time so goining to the beach for a swim later as it's 36 today.  And it might get rid of our hangovers after dinner with Deb, Pete and Toni at the local pub and then Sambuca shots (i'm sure I said NO but 4 shots later hahahahaha) and then I WON $450 on the pokies WOOHOO!!

Ok then, miss you all heaps,

love Us xxxxx

Hello,

Port Lincoln is a fantastic place and we will come back here on our way home too for a while.  We went 4 wheel driving yesterday morning!!!  But the track went nowhere so had to turn around on the beach and go back again but it was good fun.

In the afternoon we went on a boat cruise and swam with the huge Tuna fish.  Yes I even got a wetsuit on, booties, gloves, goggles and snorkel, how friggin hilarious was that!!!!!  As I was coming to get out of the water the guy started throwing the bait fish at me and all the Tuna kept coming and swimming at me Andrew thought that was great as he was already out on the deck.......shit!!

We will be in Normanville tomorrow at the Jetty Caravan Park for a week or 2 as Andrew's cousin manages the park, so we will base ourselves there when we go to Kangaroo Island and Victor Harbour.

Bye all xxx
