Hi Everyone,

Hope you all had a great Australia Day, we were on Kangaroo Island and it is absolutely beautiful.  We took the car over on the ferry on Tuesday morning and came back on Thursday night (bit rougher and I was shitting myself !!!!!)

We are off to Victor Harbour again today as it's so nice there and the wind has stopped again today so we will make the most of it.  Andrew is just washing the car (only 4 weeks old and soooo dirty poor thing) we have already done 5500 km in it!

We are leaving Normanville prob on Wednesday as it is Deb's birthday on Tuesday so will have a few drinkies for that ( so maybe late Wednesday hahahaha)  We are going to the Links Lady bay golf club for dinner tomorrow night for her b'day.

Looks like everyone had a great time at Tracey and Marks for Australia Day..............was that a few too many Bundy's Dad?  Made me miss you all more♥

Well I finally managed to find where to write on here again ( don't know what happened) hahahahahaha.  We arrived in normanville on Wednesday afternoon and caught up with Andrew's cousins Debbie and Peter and their daughter Toni and  Joanne and Tony.  Went over for dinner (they manage the caravan park here) and had a great night ..............how could it not be great with 3 Toni's (Tony's) hehe.

What a great place they have here it's right on the beach with a little river running through it.  We went to Victor Harbour and that is just gorgeous, we will go back there again another day before we leave here.  We went on the steam train and the horse pulled tram to Granite Island, checked out one of the pubs ..of course.  Yesterday we went into the city, and Rundle mall which is so full of shops it a great place.  Had a look at the Skycity Casino for a bit it's ok but small.

Then went to Glenelg and WOW love it there it was packed on the beach with volleyball and the jetty and they have this place called the Beach House which has huge water slides, mini golf, bumper boats and a big amusement centre it was great.

Ok off now for a drive to check out where the ferry for Kangaroo Island goes as we are going there for a few days.  The wind has finally stopped after all this time so goining to the beach for a swim later as it's 36 today.  And it might get rid of our hangovers after dinner with Deb, Pete and Toni at the local pub and then Sambuca shots (i'm sure I said NO but 4 shots later hahahahaha) and then I WON $450 on the pokies WOOHOO!!

Ok then, miss you all heaps,

love Us xxxxx

Hello,

Port Lincoln is a fantastic place and we will come back here on our way home too for a while.  We went 4 wheel driving yesterday morning!!!  But the track went nowhere so had to turn around on the beach and go back again but it was good fun.

In the afternoon we went on a boat cruise and swam with the huge Tuna fish.  Yes I even got a wetsuit on, booties, gloves, goggles and snorkel, how friggin hilarious was that!!!!!  As I was coming to get out of the water the guy started throwing the bait fish at me and all the Tuna kept coming and swimming at me Andrew thought that was great as he was already out on the deck.......shit!!

We will be in Normanville tomorrow at the Jetty Caravan Park for a week or 2 as Andrew's cousin manages the park, so we will base ourselves there when we go to Kangaroo Island and Victor Harbour.

Bye all xxx

Hi there,

We have been in Streaky Bay for the last couple of days and what a fantastic little town.  The caravan park is great, scenery is beautiful and every town we have stopped in there is a long jetty!!!  We went driving today to Sceales (pronounced scales) Bay where you can take your caravan down on the beach and stay for as long as you like and it is just an honour box for payment.  The car got it's 1st taste of 4 wheel driving as we went fishing on a couple of beaches.
Yesterday Andrew was in the water looking for Razor fish that are shaped like a fan sort of thing and you crush the shell up and use as burley and the meat tastes like scallops............but we will never know cos he didn't get any hahahaha.
Andrew cooked all the dinner in the van last night and what do you know NO smoke alarms went off!!!! Looks like he better do all the cooking then:)
It has been quite hot here today and Andrew has got the backs of his knees burnt and all the very tops of my legs are burnt...ouch!!!   And before you say anything yes we had cream on but I put it on when I still had my shorts on.
It's 8pm and we have just finished dinner and are going for a walk as the sun doesn't set til just before 9pm........it's great!
Tomorrow we are off to Port Lincoln unless we find a nice spot in between to stay!

We are having such a great time, but I miss my kids and grandkids so I will have another wine and I will be fine hehe.            These are for Kalani, Alanis and Zavier.  Love Nanny and Grandad XXXXXXXXXXX

Bye now love Us xx

Not sure if i'm gonna want to go back to work.............Andrew...Andrew...did you hear me!!!!!!!!!!!
We will be in Streaky Bay (about 100k's further on from Ceduna) for a couple of days and not sure if we will get reception.
Well I better go over to the camp kitchen and do the dishes seeing as Andrew cooked brekky! (I cooked toast the other morning and set the smoke alarm in the van of twice LOL!!!  Won't be trying that again hahaha.

Hi Everyone,

We left Kalgoorlie at 12.30pm on Monday afternoon and arrived at Fraser Range Station at about 5pm, a great little camp in the middle of nowhere!  Left there at 6am this morning and drove to WA/SA border Village where we are spending the night.  Thought we might have got stuck on the way as there is a fire between Madura and Mundrabilla but the smoke was ok so they didn't close the road.
Nothing to see but bushes and nothing haha.

Tomorrow we are staying at the Shelley beach caravan Park in Ceduna for a couple of days.

Limited internet so having probs putting pics up will try again tomorrow.

Miss you, love us xx

Evening All,

We have had a relaxing day today.  Went to the museum which was really good and then went to lunch at Monty's, great burgers!
We then had to wash the thick red mud from the wheels and the red dust from yesterday on the car, (we want it to look new for a bit longer hahaha).

Andrew bought his Webber Q today and it fits perfect in the front box of the caravan.  The car is having it's 1st service tomorrow as we have done over 1500 k's already so we will be leaving Kalgoorlie as soon as it's finished and heading about 100 k's east of Norseman at Fraser Range Station for the night.

Sam can you show Nanny how to get on here and also see if Tamara knows how, thanks xx

Every part of the ouside and inside is written on, we wrote our names on the right hand corner of the main bar:)
 The Ora Banda Hotel.
 Statues at Lake Ballard.

Menzies Roadhouse is now closed and it's a credit card petrol station now.
Thought I better do some work!!!!
And whoever got me the shoe calendar will be happy cos it's come on hols with us haha!

Bye for now xx

Hello,

We got the car dirty today and it ran like a dream on the long gravel roads.  We went to Broad Arrow Tavern, Ora Banda and Lake Ballad to see the statues on the salt lake.
We wrote our names on the bar at the tavern along with about a million other names haha.  Andrew did a Billy Connoly at Lake Ballad!!!  But I promised I wouldn't put a pic up lol.

Andrew is happy as the man in the caravan across from us showed him how to set up his satelite dish and we now have Foxtel!

Hey Sam, how is your toe????

So now I have actually found the right place to post a comment LOL I can see where to add photos hahaha.  Today we went into town and saw the Paddy Hannan statue (I so remember it being a lot bigger last time we were here about 35 years ago !!!!!!).
We went to the Super Pit WOW it is huge the trucks look like toys.  We also went to look at it at night too with all the lights on.
Tomorrow we are off to Broad Arrow, Ora Banda and Menzies for a look see.
It's so hot and quite windy, but the air con in the van is soooo good!
Ok I am going to attempt to load some pics so see you all tomorrow if I am not knackered!!
