Well I finally managed to find where to write on here again ( don't know what happened) hahahahahaha. We arrived in normanville on Wednesday afternoon and caught up with Andrew's cousins Debbie and Peter and their daughter Toni and Joanne and Tony. Went over for dinner (they manage the caravan park here) and had a great night ..............how could it not be great with 3 Toni's (Tony's) hehe.
What a great place they have here it's right on the beach with a little river running through it. We went to Victor Harbour and that is just gorgeous, we will go back there again another day before we leave here. We went on the steam train and the horse pulled tram to Granite Island, checked out one of the pubs ..of course. Yesterday we went into the city, and Rundle mall which is so full of shops it a great place. Had a look at the Skycity Casino for a bit it's ok but small.
Then went to Glenelg and WOW love it there it was packed on the beach with volleyball and the jetty and they have this place called the Beach House which has huge water slides, mini golf, bumper boats and a big amusement centre it was great.
Ok off now for a drive to check out where the ferry for Kangaroo Island goes as we are going there for a few days. The wind has finally stopped after all this time so goining to the beach for a swim later as it's 36 today. And it might get rid of our hangovers after dinner with Deb, Pete and Toni at the local pub and then Sambuca shots (i'm sure I said NO but 4 shots later hahahahaha) and then I WON $450 on the pokies WOOHOO!!
Ok then, miss you all heaps,
love Us xxxxx
Those sambuca shots will do it everytime, hahaha, sounds like you are having a ball. Glenelg sounds awesome, they need more of that sort of stuff over here. Congratulations on the win on the pokies. You missed the HUGE thunderstorm here on Thursday night, you would have freaked out, it went all night. 4 people got struck by lightening, 1 in Baldivis, 2 in Mandurah and can't remember where the other one was. Pool almost overflowed and patio got flooded by all the rain. Can't wait to see all your photos when you get back. Take care, love yous xx
ReplyDeleteyeah I heard about the storm, Dad reckons it's the worst he has seen!!!!! Touch wood we have had fabulous weather. We have just booked to go to Kangaroo Island for 3 days (leaving the caravan at the caravan park with Deb and Pete), staying in a couple of resorts, so that's our bit of pampering for the holidays hehe. It's just so nice not having to be anywhere or do anything if we don't want to, and can't believe we have only been gone just over 2 weeks yet we've seen and done so much. Better go as the washing is nearly finished and then off for a drive. love and miss you xx
